Man, 18, killed in shooting in south Houston

A man died after he was shot during an argument with another man Monday in south Houston. Torrence Demond Haywood, 18, died in the shooting, which occurred at 5100 Mallow near Noel about 11 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department. Police said Haywood was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
