Cornel West: Summers was right

Cornel West's embarrassing comments about President Obama — such as that he's more comfortable with "upper-middle-class white Jewish men” — seem to have been motivated, in part, by anger toward Obama's former economic adviser, Lawrence Summers, who drove West out of Harvard. But West's offensive statements only serve to make Summers look wise to have taken him on.
